Perugia Airport is only a 20-minute journey by road from the city of Perugia, one of Italy's most beautiful historic cities. Home to Umbria's National Gallery and Perugia Cathedral, two magnificent castles and Roman remains, Perugia is on every traveler's itinerary who visits Umbria. The cities of Florence, Pisa and Assisi are within easy reach. Rome is just a 2 hour train ride away. Passengers arriving at Perugia Airport have several onward transport options open to them, including regular Bus Italia connections, taxis and private transfers.
Perugia to Bastia Umbria to Assisi Route (Linea E007)
Linea E007, the Perugia to Assisi Route leaves the airport at 9.57 hours for Bastia Umbra, where it arrives at 10.13 hours, to continue for Assisi Stazione. It gets to Assisi's terminal at 10.25 hours, before continuing to Piazza Matteotti Assisi, where it stops ten minutes later.
Buses leave Piazza Matteotti Assisi at 8.35, 12.45 and 17.05 hours. The 8.35 hours service gets to Assisi Stazione at 8.48, before carrying on to Bastia Umbra, where it arrives at 9.01 hours. The bus arrives 14 minutes later at Perugia Airport, then carries on to the main train station Ponte S Giovanni, where it arrives at 9.29. It finally stops at the main bus terminal in Piazzale Belluci at 9.41 hours.
The final service of the day, the 17.05 service from Assisi arrives at the airport at 17.45 hours, and at the main train station at 17.59 hours.

Perugia to Bastia Umbra to Foligno (Linea E422)
This service leaves Perugia Airport at 11.30 hours, arriving at Bastia Umbra at 11.42 hours, before carrying on to Assisi Stazione, where it arrives at 11.43 hours. The bus carries on to Foligno from there, arriving in Foligno at 12.20 hours.
Two services a day leave for Perugia from Foligno Stazione, one at 07.50 hours, the other at 14.30 hours. The morning service gets to Assisi at 08.21 hours, before carrying on to Bastia Umbra, where it arrives at 08.31. It gets to Perugia Airport at 08.45 hours, to Perugia's Ponte S Giovanni train station at 08.55 hours and arrives at the bus terminal at 09.15 hours.
The afternoon service leaves Foligno Stazione at 14.30 hours, arriving at the airport at 15.22 hours, at Perugia train station at 15.36 hours and at the bus terminal at 15.50 hours.
Express Service E620 for Perugia to Terni
There is no airport service going to Terni, but it is possible to take an express bus, line E620, to Terni from Perugia's Bus Italia bus terminal Sant' Anna in Piazzale Belluci, which is not that far from the train station Ponte S Giovanni.
Line E620 leaves from the Perugia bus terminal at 13.15, running via Via Pellini (13.18), Porta Conca (13.20), Fontevegge (13.25), Acquasparta (14.16), V C Battisti (14.36), L Don Minzoni (14.38), before arriving at Terni Bus Terminal at 14.40 hours.
The last service of the day leaves Terni at 18.10 hours, via P Tacito (18.11), V C Battisti (18.12), Pian Di Porto (18.42), Fontivegge (19.15), 19.18 (Porta Conca), V Pellini MM (19.20), before arrving back at Perugia's bus terminal at 19.25 hours.
